On the eve of our 15th anniversary and after a challenging but very successful 2023, we started delivering on one of our key strategic goals by acquiring a company with expertise and services that complement our own.
We are talking about Neopix, a UX and Data-Driven Digital Product Studio, one of Southern Europe's finest UI/UX Design and Product Development companies.
Stability and Continued Growth
Niš is the home to over 150 IT companies - a relatively large number for the third-largest town in Serbia. In light of this, as well as a challenging 2023 for the industry in general, we see our acquisition of Neopix as a big step in improving the competitive outlook not only for ourselves but for the Niš tech ecosystem in general.
What Ing brings to the table is vast experience with end-to-end software development and a significant presence in the DACH region with clients like SPAR ICS, Porsche Informatik, PALFINGER, and Eurodata, among others.
On the other hand, Neopix is mostly known for delivering scalable apps and platforms with consumer-grade UX, powered by product analytics insights, and has done most of the work on the Australian and the US markets in FinTech and HealthTech domains.

This strategic move is the first step towards Ing delivering on our mission to consolidate the local tech scene in Niš and to turn Ing into a regional leader.
Our CEO Nenad Ilijić sheds more light on the motives for the acquisition and lays out the integration plan: “Neopix was our first choice ever since we started thinking about acquisitions, due to our compatibility and similarities between our company cultures and values. This will be especially important once we start the integration process. As challenging as it may be, we don’t expect any major obstacles because our new colleagues bring new blood and fresh energy and provide added value. We want to keep as many of those qualities as possible and integrate them into Ing so we can achieve our joint strategic goals.”
